Monthly, we will introduce a flight of three wines to taste for $20. This is an easy way to experience three of the same grapes side-by-side from three different producers or regions, at various price levels. A great way to learn about wine – we also offer food pairing suggestions!
 

November’s Wine Flight

Riesling

 
Everyone always says, Rieslings are so sweet. Actually, the sweetness is the first sensation you experience as the wine hits your mouth, and unless it is one of the dessert Rieslings, the wine dries out as it hits the middle and back of your palate. So, there are many levels of Riesling with regard to sweetness. The Qba, Kabinetts and Spatleses are the “dry” rieslings. There are 6 different regions of Germany with distinct flavor profiles. The Mosel Valley is probably the most well-known Riesling growing region. In this month’s flight, you will experience a Mosel Kabinett, as well as Kabinett’s from 2 other regions of Germany. The beauty of this month’s wine flight is that it will prepare you for the wine that is most compatible with your Thanksgiving turkey. Did you know that, in general, Riesling is the most compatible wine with most food? So, come and enjoy a very tasty and delicate wine and experience the differences of 3 regions.
